Rail Vikas Nigam Limited(RVNL), a Schedule „A‟ PSU under the Ministry of Railways for fast track execution of Rail projects, requires the services of experienced Engineering Degree/Diploma holders (freshers can also apply) for engagement in Civil, Electrical & Signal Engineering Departments of RVNL on contract basis for its Projects located at various places in the States of Karnataka & Maharashtra. The details of the post and the qualifications/experience needed are as under
Post : Site Engineer (Civil, Electrical & Signals)
Qualification :
B.E./B. Tech (Civil / Electronics/ Electrical) having working experience of one year post-Degree (Freshers can also apply)
Post : Junior Site Engineer (Civil, Electrical & Signals)
Qualification :
Diploma Holders in (Civil / Electronics/ Electrical) having working experience of one year postqualification (Freshers can also apply)
Emoluments : The monthly remuneration of Site Engineer and Jr Site Engineer will be around Rs.27,000/- and Rs.21,000/- respectively. Candidates having relevant Railwayrelated experience will be considered for higher emoluments.
Note 1:
Preference will be given to candidates having experience in Railway-related works. Candidates having field experiences of working in the following types of Projects only will be treated as having Railway-related experience:
CIVIL - Construction / Design of Railway lines - Construction / Design of Railway Bridges & Structures
ELECTRICAL - Construction/Design of Railway Over Head Equipments (Electrification) - Construction/Design of major Electrical sub-stations / Traction Sub-stations
SIGNALS - Construction/Design of Panel or Electronic or Route-relay Interlocking - Construction / Design of Railway Signals
Note 2:
Freshers refers to candidates who have completed their full Degree / Diploma course and have certificates in r/o all their semesters. Candidates who do not have final semester marksheet/gradesheet at the time of application/Interview will be summarily disqualified..
Place of Posting :
Site Engineers/Junior Site Engineesr will be posted in the field at any of the following Projects under Project Implementation Unit of Hubli:- Hospet, Koppel, Hubli & Alvanar

The on-line facility will be open for a specified period/time(0000 hrs of 26/07/2012 to 2359 hrs of 01/08/2012). Interested candidates must fill up the form within this specified time period of 7 days.Applications beyond or before the specified period will not be accepted.
